Lawful Let helps private landlords keep their rented homes safe and legal. When a landlord needs a job done, we show them the contractors who say they cover their area, and they send a booking request.

1. Your business

As landlords will see it.

Given to a landlord only after you accept their booking request.

2. Your trades

Which work do you do? Tick every one that applies.

3. Registration numbers

Fill in only the ones for the trades you ticked. We show them to landlords exactly as you type them, with a link to the official register so the landlord can check.

Needed if you ticked Gas engineer. Gas work needs Gas Safe registration.

For example NICEIC or NAPIT. For electricians.

For example Elmhurst or Quidos. For energy assessors.

4. The areas you cover

Areas are council areas, such as Leeds or Bradford. Type a postcode in an area you cover and press the button. We list that council area and the ones near it, and you tick the ones you cover. Do it again with another postcode to add areas further away.

5. Your email address

Booking requests are sent here. We send a link to check the address is yours, then you choose a password.
